Main deities
Halinhi can have a diverse set of spiritual beliefs, but most believe in the same core gods.
The tail giver
The Tail Giver is a being that is considered divine or holy by the Halinhi, and is often referred to as a "god" or "goddess". Often she is associated with the creation of the species, prosperity, and blessing. Being alike to the mother of the species, she has a warm, protective, maternal vibe to her. She has more tails than any other known Halinhi, and greatly surpasses the Hali with the second-highest number of tails. She roughly has 30 tails, but there isn't a definitive number because it is rumored she has a fluctuating amount. This waving number is because she is said to donate and grow new tails continuously. Tail Giver gave the Halinhi species their unique multiple tail trait and it's said she continues to give her tails to chosen Hali.

If one receives extra tails from Tail Giver, that Hali is highly regarded afterwards and looked at as being blessed. As a rule of thumb, the more tails you have, the higher regard you have in their social setting. The number thirty, because of this, tends to be a significant repeating value in the Hali society. For instance, Hali live to be about 30 years old or they tend to group large amounts of things in thirties. Adding to the Tail Giver's ethereal appearance, she is larger than most Hali being the size of a sheep instead of the normal cat-medium dog size. She also has three ears on each side of her head which is a unheard-of occurrence, ears are often unique in shape but the number shouldn't be affected. The coloration of her body has a godly feel to it, as well, being her body is a pale and plain, then her 30 tails add a bright pop of color. Tail giver in person is a quiet, stoic Hali with a gentle touch and soft eyes. Humans may disregard any powers she has, but there is something celestial about her that no one can deny if they are lucky enough to catch a glimpse of her.
